Participants submit an application on the site http://minskfest.by/.

Attention! Applications of collectives, soloists, duets, ensembles, small forms should be given separately. It is allowed to participate in several nominations for an additional fee. All data from the applications is reflected in the diplomas in the form in which it was submitted to the site. The organizers reserve the right to shorten the names of institutions (UO, GDO, DDiM, CTD, etc.). Changes to the application should be given not later than fourteen days before the full-time tour of the Festival.

2 step of the distanced round. Sending of visual materials.

Participants send an e-mail to materiali@minskfest.by:

VIDEO MATERIALS should be provided by choreographic, theatrical, circus, vocal, choral, instrumental genres, bard songs, fashion theaters.

Video materials can be of amateur quality, shot on mobile phones, but the quality of sound and images should not interfere with the perception of the material.

PICTURES/ DPI COMPOSITIONS IN ELECTRONIC FORM – fine and decorative and applied arts. Image size - at least 3000px on the short side.

3 step of the distanced round. Receiving notification of the results of the distanced round.

Not later than one month after the submission of the application and visual materials to the Organizing Committee of the Festival, participants will be notified about the results of the distanced round.

Attention! Participation in the full-time round of the Festival is paid only after receiving the answer about the results of the distanced tour!

4 step of the distanced round. Payment for participation in the full-time round.

Cost for foreign collectives:

35 EUR/pers. - participation in the ensemble (4 or more people) in the same genre in one age category.

50 EUR/pers. - participation in duo/trio or solo in one genre in one age category.

Additional paid:

5 EUR/pers. - participation in the ensemble (4 persons or more) in one additional performance.

15 EUR/pers. - participation in duet/trio or solo in one additional performance.

Attention! The cost of participation in duo/trio or solo is considered as the main. If the participant takes part in the solo nomination and in the ensemble nomination, he pays 50 EUR + 5 EUR.

For spectators and accompanying persons:

3 EUR/pers. - entrance ticket to the competition program for viewers.

 

5 step of the distanced round. Provision of materials necessary for participation in the on-site tour.

Participants provide the Organizing Committee of the Festival with all the materials necessary for participation, namely: phonograms, video materials (if the venue permits their usage) and pictures/works of the DPI not later than fourteen days before to the Festival's full-time tour.

PROFESSIONAL COMPETITION IN NOMINATIONS ACCORDING TO THE PROGRAM.

THE REGULATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONTEST "MINSK. СКРЫЖАВАННІ » 

1. ORGANIZERS AND FOUNDERS:

• Youth Cultural and Educational Public Association "Festival Center" (Republic of Belarus);

• Limited Liability Company "Wave of Ideas" (Republic of Belarus).

2. BASIC CONCEPTS USED IN THE REGULATION:

• Participant is an individual who paid for participation in the Festival in accordance with paragraph 4 of this Regulation;

• Soloist is a participant of the Festival who has paid for participation in the Festival in accordance with paragraph 4 of this Regulation, who applied for personal performance;

• Duo is a couple of participants, each of whom paid for participation in the Festival according to paragraph 4, submitted one application for the performance of the duet;

• Trio is a union of three people, each of whom paid for participation in the Festival according to paragraph 4, who submitted one application for the performance of the trio;

• Ensemble is a group of participants, each of whom paid for participation in the Festival in accordance with paragraph 4 of this Regulation, filed one application for the performance, performing on the stage venues of the Festival as a single team;

• Team is a group united by joint activities within the same institution of participants, each of whom paid for participation in the Festival in accordance with paragraph 4 of this Regulation, performing on the stage venues of the Festival;

• Nomination is a thematic position in determining the art focus of the participant (s);

• Application is a voluntary will of the participant (s) to participate in the Festival, submitted on the website.

3. OBJECTIVES OF THE FESTIVAL:

• the revival, preservation and development of national cultures;

• development and improvement of early childhood education and upbringing;

• disclosure of the spiritual, intellectual and cultural potential of children through art;

• strengthening the role of the teacher in the upbringing process;

• identification and support of the most talented and promising creative teams;

• increase of professional skills and qualifications of managers, teachers of creative teams and performers;

• organization of active recreation and physical rehabilitation of children and youth.

4. THE SYSTEM OF ORGANIZING THE COMPETITIVE PROGRAM

4.1. Order of conduct

Collectives, soloists, duets, small forms, ensembles apply for participation on the site https://minskfest.by/ from 01.10.2018 to 01.03.2019.

The festival consists of 2 rounds:

1st round - DISTANCED (01.10.2018 – 01.03.2019).

Participants submit an application on the site https://minskfest.by/.

Attention! Applications of collectives, soloists, duets, ensembles, small forms should be submitted separately. It is allowed to participate in several nominations for an additional fee.

All data from the applications are reflected in the diplomas in the form in which they are submitted to the site. The organizers reserve the right to shorten the names of institutions (UO, GDO, DDiM, CTD, etc.). Making changes to applications is allowed no later than fourteen days prior to the full-time round of the Festival.

2nd step of the distanced round. Sending visual materials.

Participants send video materials to an e-mail materiali@minskfest.by.

You can send a link to video materials posted on YouTube or other video hosting. Video materials can be amateur quality, shot on mobile phones, but the quality of sound and images should not interfere with the perception of the material. All sent videos are viewed by the jury once in two weeks.

3rd step of the distanced round. Receiving notification about the results of the distanced round.

Not later than one week after the submission of the competitive application and visual materials to the Organizing Committee of the Festival, participants will be notified about the results of the distanced round.

Attention! Participation in the full-time round of the Festival is paid only after receiving notice about the results of the distanced tour!

4 step of the distanced round. Payment for participation in the full-time round.

Cost for foreign collectives:

35 EUR / pers. - participation in the ensemble (4 or more people) in one genre in one age category.

50 EUR / pers. - participation in the composition of a duo/trio or solo in one genre in one age category.

THE FESTIVAL COST INCLUDES:

Participation in the competition program of the festival;

The work of a professional jury;

Diploma (laureate, diplomant, participant);

Commemorative medal;

Festival attributes.

Additional paid:

5 EUR/pers. - participation in the ensemble (4 persons or more) in one additional performance.

15 EUR/ pers. - participation in the duet/trio or solo in one additional performance.

ATTENTION! The cost of participation in the duo/trio or solo for the payment is considered as main.

3 EUR/pers. - entrance ticket to the contest program for the audience.

5 step of the distanced course. Provision of materials necessary for participation in the full-time tour.

Participants provide the Organizing Committee of the Festival with all the materials necessary for participation, namely: phonograms, not later than fourteen days before the Festival's full-time tour.

4.1. Dates and venue of the full-time tour.

4.2. The participants

The age of participants in the competition program is older than 5 years.

Participants in the competition program are divided into age categories and forms in accordance with the nominations. The appropriate age category and form are indicated when completing the application.

4.3. Nominations

Choreographic genre (ensembles, trios, duets and soloists):

• classical choreography;

• folk choreography;

• folk-stylized choreography;

•  contemporary choreography;

• pop choreography;

• children's story-and-game dance;

•east dance;

• sports dance;

• street directions (hip-hop, house, techno, disco, street, electric boogie, breakdance, pop-lock and other street styles);

• ballroom dance (European program, Latin American program);

• historical dance.

Participants provide to the competition one number in one nomination and in one age category. The duration of the performance should not exceed four minutes.

Vocal genre (ensembles, trios, duets and soloists):

•academic;

• folk;

•pop;

•jazz.

Participants provide to the competition one number in one nomination and in one age category. The duration of the number should not exceed four minutes.

Variants of execution: phonogram "-1", instrumental accompaniment, a cappella.

The use of back vocal is acceptable if it does not go in unison and does not overlap dynamically the main part.

Choral genre:

•academic;

•pop;

•jazz;

• folk.

Participants provide to the competition one number in one nomination and in one age category. The duration of the number should not exceed four minutes.

Variants of execution: phonogram "-1", instrumental accompaniment, a cappella.

Theatrical genre:

• musical performance (musical, ballet, opera);

• dramatic performance;

• chamber performance;

• dance theater;

•puppet theatre;

• plastics and pantomime theaters;

• street theater;

• parody theater;

•shadow theater;

• monoperformance;

• experimental genre;

• artistic expression.

The division into age categories is not available for all nominations except monoperformance and artistic expression.

Participants provide to the competition one composition-finished fragment or a performance in one nomination. The duration of the performance should not exceed twelve minutes for ensembles and five minutes for soloists (monoperformance/artistic expression).

Fashion Theater:

• pret-a-porter;

• evening wear;

•national costume;

• historical costume;

• modern costume;

• fantasy clothes;

• business style clothing;

• clothes for sports and recreation.

Participants provide to the competition one collection in one nomination and in one age category. The duration of the room should not exceed five minutes.

Video Blogging:

• video review;

•interview;

• travel-blog;

• lifestyle-blog;

• beauty-blog;

• educational blog;

• sketch-show;

• prank.

Participants submit to the competition one video in one nomination and in one age category. The duration of the performance should not exceed four minutes. Video must be published in any social network. Distanced participation is allowed in this nomination (does not affect the cost of participation).

4.4. Evaluation criteria

  • choreography – themes and selection of repertoire; performing skills; compositional construction of the performance and originality; costumes and props; artistry and expressiveness;
  • vocal – purity of intonation; the beauty of the timbre and the power of the voice; mastery of the dynamics of sound; artistry and expressiveness; appearance;
  • theater – themes and selection of repertoire; acting skills; compositional construction (mise en scene); decoration and props; diction;
  • fashion theater - originality, newness, design; artistic expressiveness; the relevance of the subject and the integrity of the collection; creative approach in the use of materials and technological solutions;
  • video blogging - acting; speech technology; selection of the repertoire; technical design; originality.

The distribution of prize places in the competition program is based on the protocol of the jury and / or the number of points awarded through the competitive program. The evaluation is carried out by open voting on a ten-point scale.

The program of performances and a gala concert is defined by the director-production group. The program is final and cannot be discussed.

4.5. Jury

To evaluate competitive performances, an competent international jury is formed, which includes leading figures of culture and art.

The jury's decision is final and cannot be discussed. Members of the jury have no right to disclose the results of the competition before the official announcement.

4.6. Rewarding

Participants of the festival are awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts.

The jury can divide the title of laureate or diploma between several participants, and also not award it to anyone.

Collectives over four people (inclusive) are awarded with a festival cup. Attention! The cup is awarded to the team leader.

According to the decision of the competent jury, in each nomination the winner of the " Cup of the Best" is determined in the following nominations:

choreography;

vocals;

choral art;

theatrical art;

theater of fashion;

video blogging.

The jury has the right not to award the "Cup of the Best", to award two or more "Cups of the Best", to assign additional incentive prizes.

Among the winners of the "Cup of the Best" is distributed a cash prize from the Sponsor based on the results of an open vote of the jury members within the Gala Concert.

The winner of the open voting of the jury members within the framework of the Gala Concert becomes the winner of the "Grand Prix" of the Festival.

4.7. Technical requirements

Recording of an audio track should be:

sent not later than fourteen days before the Festival start on e-mail: materiali@minskfest.by;

ATTENTION! In the subject of the letter, it is obligatory to indicate the name of the collective (name of the soloist), in the text of the letter specify the name of the performance, timing, variant of launch ("from point", "without point").

on a flash drive with an ideal sound quality, the title of the track should indicate: the name of the collective (name of the soloist), the name of the number, the timekeeping. You should have copies of phonograms with you.

5. ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Creative collectives and soloists take part in the festival, who submitted an application and visual materials in accordance with paragraph 4 of this Regulation and received confirmation of the distanced round from the Organizing Committee. Not later than fourteen days before the full-time tour, the Organizing Committee should be provided with lists of participants and managers containing the following information: full name, date of birth, contact telephone number.

Organizations delegating participants, or the participants themselves pay for travel, accommodation, meals and a contribution for the development of the festival.

The team leader is responsible for the life and health of children.

Failure to meet the conditions of the situation entails an exception from the number of participants in the festival.

All materials (audio, video and printed products) created at the festival are considered by the organizers to be their property, and they have the right to use and disseminate information at their discretion without payment of fees to the participants.

ATTENTION! All participants must have a photocopy of their passport or other document confirming the child's age and age and, if necessary, present it to the jury or the organizers of the competition.

ATTENTION! The installation of cameras within a radius of three meters from the jury is prohibited.

6. THE PROGRAM OF THE FESTIVAL
